We are an American Heart Association accredited training facility located in Keyport, New Jersey and Toms River, New Jersey.

As a AHA complaint location, we train:

Meet Your Instructor

Your instructor, Annie DeFino, has spent ten years of her professional career course directing wilderness excursions, and more importantly, handling the inevitable first aid that comes with high risk situations.

She now is focused fully on teaching others that anyone can be a hero when equipped with the right knowledge and tools.

Annie has taught hundreds of students BLS, Heartsaver, and ACLS for the past three years. She has as a current Wilderness First Responder and Auto Injector certification from NOLS, and most recently, she has used her knowledge to hand craft a Survivalist Course, designed to teach all needed survival skills when out in the wilderness.

  • Basic Life Support:

    BLS training from American Heart Association is the industry standard CPR training.

  • In BLS Certification, you will learn all need to know information in a format catered to individuals that are truly new to the concepts of CPR.

    In BLS Recertification, an individual who has already taken a BLS course has a thorough “refresher” course, which we at AHA refer to as “Heartcode.”

  • Heartsaver is an AHA certification that is aimed for everyday individuals who want to learn immediate responses for

    • first aid

    • abdominal thrusts

    • heart attack

    • stroke

    • allergic reactions

    • asthma attacks

      Heartsaver is a perfect certification for anyone who works in schools, care-takes, or just wants to be prepared for any given situation!

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support is a certification for medical professionals. In Advanced Cardiac Life Support, a medical student or professional will learn how to interpret various common and uncommon heart rhythms, as well as identify the correct immediate responses to each.

    This is a 8 hour class that requires active participation, a handwritten and physical test, and pre-course work.
